MAPLE Engages Southern California with Networking Events in Three Cities

Building on the growth of its membership and increasing interest in the organization's cross-border trade and investment focus, MAPLE Business Council hosted three networking events on March 2nd and 3rd. The meetings were held in downtown Los Angeles, Irvine and downtown San Diego. Drawing a record number of registrants, the meetings featured presentations on the Canadian innovation community, the leadership work of the County of Riverside in foreign trade and insights on overcoming inherent flaws in the approach to designing, developing and implementing software from Toronto-based member organization, IMC.

MAPLE wishes to thank HSBC, Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, LLP and Procopio Law for their generous support of venues for our senior executive meetings. We also wish to thank Mr. Richard Dozier of the County of Riverside's Economic Development Agency and Mr. Stuart Sherman, CEO of IMC for sharing their time and expertise with us over three meetings in two days.
