This week MAPLE Business Council hosted quarterly networking events in both Orange County and Los Angeles County in response to growing interest in the organization's cross-border trade and investment focus.
A record-level of attendees participated in the two events scheduled on successive days in Irvine and downtown Los Angeles.
MAPLE wishes to thank Knobbe Martens and HSBC for hosting the meetings which featured five presentations spanning the mission of MAPLE; an update on the organization's growth; a comparison of media trends and consumption in Canada and the U.S. by MAPLE member organization, Media-Corps; a case study of Omni-Lite Industries - a successful high-tech manufacturer who has grown from Calgary, Alberta to Southern California and a discussion of FX challenges and considerations with a focus on the Canadian dollar by HSBC.
