We look forward to welcoming members, partners and guests to our Colorado Fall Reception for great cross-sector executive networking and insights from our featured speakers. We are grateful to PCL Construction Services for hosting us at their Denver office.

We are pleased to announce that TMX Group, owners of the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange, will be a featured presenter. George Khalife, Vice President of U.S. Capital Formation Midwest, will be profiling the unique two-tier structure of the Toronto exchanges and the opportunities for growing Colorado businesses to leverage the advantages of public venture capital through a listing on the TSX - Venture Exchange.

We are also delighted to welcome Canadian corporate law firm, Cassels, as a featured presenter. Cassels is one of the largest business law practices in Canada serving all sectors for over 130 years. Toronto-based partners Jay King and Sean Maniaci will discuss how U.S. based companies can access the Canadian capital markets and go public and list securities for trading in Canada.

And for those interested in additional Canadian market insights, our friends at PNC Bank in Denver will be hosting an event entitled “Denver Success in Canada” on September 27. Their program will provide an economic and M&A update, Canadian dollar exchange rate outlook, perspectives on tax strategies for Canada, updates on important regulatory changes as well as upcoming enhancements to payment rules and technology.
